How To Make my 5 min. cake in a cup
-
1Measure all your dry ingredients right into the cup first.
-
2Measure all your wet ingredients into a little bowl so you can beat the egg. (I found this to be easier than trying to beat the egg in the cup with all the dry ingredients)
-
3After wet and dry ingredients are mixed together I take about 12 Sugar Free Chocolate Chips and mix them around in the cup. Gives each bite a little chocolate treat!
-
4Put in microwave for 5 minutes. (I have a small microwave and have found this to be the perfect time. Some said 3 minutes but I found the cake to be too doughy!)
-
5HANDLE IS HOT ON CUP!!! Remove from microwave and run a knife around the sides and turn upside down on a small plate. (You can eat it from cup but it's so hot to hold and it taste better when it's warm). I cut the cake in half and then add a tablespoon of Sugar Free Cool Whip on top. I have also warmed Blackberries or Blueberries (I use frozen) and put them on top of the cool whip or topped the cool whip with fine chopped walnuts or pecans for a totally different taste. For me this is the perfect dessert and I don't have a whole cake to worry about. I fix it when I'm craving cake and it's the perfect dessert. I try to find different toppings to change this recipe around.
