Ingredients For mrs. white's cake recipe

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
    sweet milk
  • 3
    eggs, separated
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make mrs. white's cake recipe

    Preheat oven to 350 Then Sift flour & baking powder 3x

    Beat egg whites stiff ~

    Cream sugar, & butter VERY WELL .. Then add sweet milk. According to the Dairy Council of Wisconsin, the terms "sweet milk" and "sweet cream" were used to differentiate these items from cultured products like buttermilk and sour cream. When a recipe calls for sweet milk, it is referring to whole milk. When a recipe calls for sweet cream, it is referring to half-and-half cream or whipping cream, depending on the recipe. ~

    Combine all ingredients .. EXCEPT YOLK > ie white cake .
