mocha frosting
I made this version of frosting to go with Lisa Glass's Black Magic Cake. Chocolate on chocolate is a bit much for me, so I decided to tinker with her frosting recipe a little and come up with a Mocha version.

Ingredients For mocha frosting

8 Tbspbutter, softened (1 stick)

2 tspvanilla extract

3 Tbspcoffee, strong

3 cpowdered sugar

1 Tbspcocoa, unsweetened
How To Make mocha frosting

1Put butter, vanilla, cocoa powder and coffee into a bowl, then slowly add the powdered sugar. Mix until completely blended.

2Makes enough frosting for a nine inch two layer or a 9x13 cake.

3(prep time is simply however long it takes a stick of butter to soften) ;)
