Ingredients For lemon pound cake

  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 5
    eggs
  • 2 1/2 c
    flour, sifted
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon extract
  • 4 Tbsp
    milk, sweet or evaporated

How To Make lemon pound cake

  • 1
    Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs one at a time and blend thoroughly after each addition. Gradually add milk. Add flour gradually and then lemon extract.

    Bake at 325, in 10" tube pan, for approximately 1 hour.
