If you like cinnamon, you will definitely like this cake. It is delicious. I have gotten a lot of compliments on this cake. The powdered sugar glaze just like melts into the cake and make it so moist.

Ingredients For honey bun cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c
    oil
  • 4
    eggs
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make honey bun cake

  • 1
    Mix cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream by hand, about 50 strokes. Put half of the batter in 9 x 13 pan.

    Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon and spread over entire cake.

    Spread the rest of the cake batter on top of the brown sugar mixture. Use a knife to make swirls in the cake.

    Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 minutes.

    Blend powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract and carefully spread on warm cake.
