This cake is a very moist cake. My daughter-in-law loves it and I make it for her on her birthdays. It is a rich and yummy cake and it came from a local cookbook from years ago(Barbara's Top Recipes).

Ingredients For hershey bar pound cake

2 cunsalted butter or margarine

2 csugar

4 lgeggs
-
5 1/2 ozhershey syrup

2 1/2 ccake flour
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspsoda
-
1 cbuttermilk (i use whole buttermilk)

1 tsppure vanilla extract
-
7plain hershey bars, melted (1.55oz ea)

1 cchopped pecans
How To Make hershey bar pound cake

1Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. In mixer with paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar on medium high until light and fluffy, approx. 3 minutes.

2Add eggs and syrup, mix until combined.

3Combine flour, salt, and soda and add alternately with the buttermilk.

4Stir in vanilla, melted Hershey bars and pecans. Spoon batter into a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake @ 325 deg. for 60 to 75 min or until cake tests done.
