Ingredients For granny cake

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 lg
    can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    nuts
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • ICING
  • 1 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1/2 stick
    margarine
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make granny cake

  • 1
    Mix flour, sugar, undrained pineapple, eggs, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Pour into greased 9x13 inch pan.

    Mix together nuts and brown sugar. Sprinkle over batter.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes, then pour on icing.

    Icing: Mix all ingredients together. Boil for 1 minute. Pour on cake.
