1/2 cmargarine

1 cbrown sugar

1 csugar or splenda

- COOKED CARMEL FROSTING

1 1/2 cbrown sugar

2 Tbspbutter

3/4 cmilk or cream

1/2 tspvanilla
How To Make grandma's best lazy daisy oatmeal cake

1Pour water over oats and cover and let stand 20 minutes. Beat butter til creamy,gradually add sugar and beat til fluffy. Blend in eggs,vanilla and oats and mix well.

2Add flour, baking soda,salt,cinnamon and nutmeg to creamy mixture. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9" pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-55 minutes

3CARMEL FROSTING: Cook sugar and cream until it forms a soft ball. Add vanilla and butter. Cool. Beat til consistency to spread.
