The original recipe I got from our church cookbook, it called for a homemade crust, I made it easier to make w/ the cookie crust.

Ingredients For easy peach upside-down coffee cake

1 pkgrefrigerated sugar cookie dough

1/4 cbutter

1/3 clight brown sugar

1/2 tspcinnamon
-
1-1/2 tspfrozen, sliced peaches, like doles, thawed

2 tspbaking powder
-
2 lgeggs
-
1/2 clight cream
-
2/3 cpeach preserves
-
3 Tbsporange juice
-
1/3 cchopped pecans
How To Make easy peach upside-down coffee cake

1Open pkg of cookie dough and let soften 5 mins. Heat oven to 350. Spray a 10" springform pan w/cooking spray. In skillet, over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Add peaches and cook 6 mins, stirring occasionally.

2Spoon mix into bottom of pan. In lg bowl, break up cookie dough w/ hands. Add baking powder and eggs, beat w/ mixer until blended. Beat in light cream until smooth.

3Pour mix over peaches. Bake 40 mins. Place a plat over top of pan and flip over. Let cool. In microwave bowl, microwave presreves and orange juice. Drizzle over cake. Sprinkle w/ pecans.
