easy, creamy strawberry cake

With a boxed cake mix and some gelatin, this makes for an easy cake to make for a party. I cut up fresh strawberries and decorate the top of the cake.

Ingredients For easy, creamy strawberry cake

    4-serving size pkg strawberry gelatin mix
  • 1 pkg
    white cake mix, mixed as directed
  • 1
    container cream cheese frosting
  • 3 Tbsp
    strawberry preserves
  • fresh strawberries for garnish

How To Make easy, creamy strawberry cake

    Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" pan w/ cooking spray. Stir dry gelatin mix into cake mix. Pour batter into pan. Bake as directed on cake box.

    In bowl, stir together frosting and preserves. Spread frosting onto cooled cake.
