I love the simplicity of this recipe, and it's oh so good! Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A wonderful Fall treat! Enjoy!

Ingredients For easy apple pecan cake

2 cpeeled, cored and chopped apples (today i used a honeycrisp)

1 stickbutter, melted - i do mine in microwave - 30 second increments

3/4 csugar
-
1egg
-
1 cflour
-
1 tspeach - baking powder & cinnamon

1/2 tspeach - salt & ground nutmeg

1/4 tspground cloves
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract
-
1/2 cpecans, chopped
-
1 Tbspcinnamon sugar mixture - optional
How To Make easy apple pecan cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease well, a 9 inch pie plate. Set aside.

2Melt butter in a large bowl ( I use microwave ) Into the melted butter, add egg, vanilla and sugar and whisk well.

3Sift the flour, spices, baking powder and add to the egg mixture. Batter will be thick. Stir in apples & pecans until well distributed

4Spread batter evenly into pie plate.Bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until a pick comes out clean. About 10 minutes before cakes is done, I sprinkle with a cinnamon sugar mixture. This is best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream...Yum!
