donut muffins
(2 ratings)
I tried these today for the first time, and could not believe how good they were, they really do taste like a donut. This is a must try. The other great thing is, so simple very few ingredients. I believe you should double the recipe, if you have a family to feed, they will not last long. Brought a batch to our coffee crowd, and they disappeared very fast. A must try. What is also nice is NO eggs.

How To Make donut muffins
-
1Preheat oven to 375deg. Grease 24 mini-muffin cups.

-
3Fill the prepared mini muffin cups about half full. (not necessary to put in paper cups, they have to be removed after baking anyway). Bake until the tops are lightly golden, 10-15 minutes.
-
4While the muffins are baking, place 1/4 cup of melted margarine or butter in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon.
-
5Dip each muffin in the melted margarine or butter, and roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture I only dipped the tops. Let cool and serve.
