    eggs
  • 1-1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    canola or vegetable oil
  • 1-1/2 c
    milk, i used 1%
  • 2 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1
    21 oz can cherry pie filling
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    heart-healthy bisquick mix
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    softened butter
  • 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate-cherry coffe cake

    Heat oven to 375. Spray a 9" x 13" pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, beat eggs, 1-1/2 cups sugar, oil milk and vanilla.

    Beat in both flours and baking powder. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips. Pour into pan. Drop cherry pie filling by tsps in rows into the batter.

    In medium bowl, combine bisquick mix, 1/2 cup sugar and butter until crumbly. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Sprinkle over batter. Bake about 1 hr, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. You may want to check the cake at 45 mins.
