I found some frozen, pitted cherries in the frozen food aisle and was so excited, no pitting cherries anymore..yippee! So, I made this easy to make cobbler.

Ingredients For cherry-pineapple cobbler

2 cfrozen, pitted cherries, thawed

1 cpear, peeled, chopped

28 oz cans pineapple chunks, undrained

1 Tbspsugar

1 tspvanilla
-
1 boxyellow cake mix
-
2/3 cwater
-
3 Tbspcanola oil, or vegetable oil

1 lgegg
-
1/2 tspcinnamon
-
1/4 tspnutmeg, ground
How To Make cherry-pineapple cobbler

1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 3-quart rectangualer baking dish w/ cooking spray. In medium bowl, toss together cherries, pear, pineapple, sugar and vanilla.

2Spoon into baking dish. In lg bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil, and egg. Drop dough into mounds over fruit. In bowl, stir together cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle on top of mounds.

3Bake 35 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve w/ fresh whipped cream or ice cream.
