cherry dessert
This is a very simple dessert that our family has been baking for years. Some people call this a "dump cake", it's a simple recipe for sure! You can use any pie filling you wish! We serve it with ice cream during summer BBQ's! It's also a great treat on Halloween after the trick-or -treating is over! The house smells great when it's baking!

5NOTE: My Mom used 1 can sour pitted cherries and 1 can cherry pie filling occasionally to make it more tart. She also used cherry and raspberry pie fillings together- you can mix and match to your taste! You can also do one side cherry and one side apple..lots of options! Peach, blueberry, apple, lemon and cherry are all wonderful! Enjoy!
