Ingredients For brown sugar pound cake

  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    2sticks of butter
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanillia extract
  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • assorted berries

How To Make brown sugar pound cake

    Preheat oven to 350f Grease and flour 9*5*3 inch loaf pan
  • 2
    In large bowl beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time

    Add vanilla In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt.

    Gradually add to sugar mixture. Pour batter into pan.Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

    Remove from pan and turn out on rack to cool completely. Garnish with berries
