My husband just loves a baked cheesecake. I don't know why I don't make them more often, they're really not much more difficult than the no bake variety, just takes a bit more time!

Ingredients For baked cheesecake

2 ccrushed graham crackers

1/3 cbutter, melted

2 Tbspsugar

1 lbcream cheese, softened

2eggs, lightly beaten

1 csugar

8 ozcommercial sour cream, room temperature

2 Tbspbutter, softened

2 Tbspcornstarch
-
1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make baked cheesecake

1Combine graham cracker crumbs, butter and 2 Tbsp sugar, press evenly into bottom of a greased 9-inch spring-form pan. Bake in a 350 oven for 8 minutes. Set aside to cool.

2With an electric mixer, beat together, cream cheese, sour cream, 1 cup sugar, eggs, butter, cornstarch and vanilla until smooth; pour misture into a prepared springform pan.

3Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until tooth pick inserted into the top comes out clean. Refrigerate overnight before cutting
