3 cunsifted all-purpose flour

2 1/3 csugar

3 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1 coil

2 1/2 tspreal vanilla

4large egg, unbeaten

1/4 corange juice
-
4large apples, peeled, slices/diced

4 tspcinnamon

5 Tbspsugar
How To Make jewish apple cake

1Beat together until smooth -- flour, 2.5 cups sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla, oil, eggs, and juice.

2In a separate bowl, mix apples, cinnamon and 5 Tbls sugar.

3Layer the batter and apples in a greased tube pan, switching back and forth until it is all used up. (I like to end with some batter on top.)

4Bake 350 for 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 hours.
