This was the very fist cake I ever baked and I have loved it!

Ingredients For 7-up cake

  • 3 c
    cake flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 5 lg
    eggs at room temperature
  • 3 stick
    butter
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 1 c
    7-up at room temperature

How To Make 7-up cake

    Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  • 2
    Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl
  • 3
    Melt butter
  • 4
    Mix extracts, eggs, butter and 7-up in a bowl on high until well mixed.

    Pour wet ingredients with dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix until smooth...about 3 minutes

    Prep cake pan with butter & flour or Baker's Joy
  • 7
    Pour cake batter into cake pan
  • 8
    Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
