Ingredients For white chocolate chip cookies with macadamia nuts

1/2 cunsalted butter, softened

1/2 ozwhite chocolate - chopped

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 tspbaking soda

1 call purpose flour

1 tspvanilla

1egg

1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/3 csugar

3/4 cmacadamia nuts, halved
How To Make white chocolate chip cookies with macadamia nuts

1Blend butter, sugars, egg and vanilla until fluffy, stopping once to scrape down sides of bowl, about 1 minute.

2Add flour, baking soda and salt and mix until just combined.

3Do not overmix.

4Stir in white chocolate chunks and nuts.

5Mound dough by 1/3 cupfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet, space about 2 inches apart and bake in preheated 375 degree oven until lightly brown around edges, about 15 minutes.

6Cool on cookie sheet for 3 minutes, then remove to racks and cool completely.

7Store in air-tight container. (Can be prepared ahead. Store cookies up to 4 days at room temperature or freeze 3 weeks).
