Ingredients For white chocolate cherry cookies

12 ozpkg. white chips

1 cmacadamia nuts

1/2 tspsalt

1 tspbaking soda

2 1/4 call purpose flour

1 tspvanilla

2 lgeggs
-
3/4 cgranulated sugar

3/4 cbrown sugar, packed

1 cbutter, softened
-
16 oztub candied cherries
How To Make white chocolate cherry cookies

1Preheat oven to 350^. Grease cookie sheets lightly. Chop 1/2 the cherries into quarters. Cut the other 1/2 into halves. Set aside. --- In a medium bowl, with electric mixer, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs and vanilla. Set aside. Combine flour, soda, and salt to the butter mixture.

3In another bowl, combine nuts, and chopped cherries(those cut in quarters) and the chips.Add to mixture and stir by hand to blend. Drop by heaping tablespoon onto the prepared cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake about 9-11 minutes.

4Remove from oven and press 1/2 cherry in center of each cookie. Cool on wire rack.
