    butter
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 2 c
    apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts, chopped

How To Make vermont apple bars

  • 1
    Combine sugar and butter;beat in egg. Add soda, flour, and nutmeg. Fold in apples and pour into greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and walnuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings.
