Ingredients For ultimate double chocolate chip cookies

  • 1 1/4 c
    light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3/4 c
    butter flavored shortening
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3/4 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c
    semi-sweet mini chocloate chips

How To Make ultimate double chocolate chip cookies

    Heat oven to 375 degrees.

    Combine brown sugar, shortening, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy.

    Beat egg into creamed mixture.

    Combine flour, salt, and backing soda. Mix into creamed mixture until just blended.

    Stir in chocolate chips, gently.

    Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough 3 inches apart onto paper.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies, or 11-13 minutes for crisp cookies.

    Pull paper onto cooling rack or counter and allow cookies to cool completely. Pop off the paper and eat.
