Ingredients For thin, crispy chocolate chip cookies

  • 1 lb
    butter, room temperature
  • 3 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make thin, crispy chocolate chip cookies

    Pre-heat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, Cream butter until smooth. Add sugars, beat until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

    Into another large bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Slowly beat dry ingredients into wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.

    Drop dough by teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Spacing dough 2 inches apart to allow for spreading. Bake until golden, 8 to 9 minutes. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and allow to cool on baking racks.
