2 tspvanilla extract

3 1/2 call-purpose flour

1 1/2 tspsalt

2 tspbaking soda

1 1/2 csemi-sweet chocolate chips

1Pre-heat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, Cream butter until smooth. Add sugars, beat until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

2Into another large bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Slowly beat dry ingredients into wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.

3Drop dough by teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Spacing dough 2 inches apart to allow for spreading. Bake until golden, 8 to 9 minutes. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and allow to cool on baking racks.
