the ultimate oatmeal cookie

I got this recipe on the back of the Crisco Butter Flavored Shortening can. I love it. It is great with walnuts, currants, Craisins, raisins, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, M&Ms, Reeses Pieces, Rolos, butterscotch pieces, toffee bits, etc. I may have made a few changes. The first time I submitted it, I did it with the wrong ingredients under another name; so I have corrected it and corrected the name as well. I think I must've been having a seizure. I am so very sorry. It is finally correct now; and I know that you will all really enjoy these cookies!
