Ingredients For the chewy chocolate cookie

1 1/4 cbutter, softened

2 csugar

2eggs
-
2 tspvanilla extract

2 call purpose flour, unsifted

3/4 chershey's cocoa powder

1 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2 cchocolate chips
-
1 cfinely chopped nuts (optional)
How To Make the chewy chocolate cookie

1Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add eggs and vanilla; blend well.

2Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda & salt. Add to butter mixture; stir to blend. Add chocolate chips. Stir in nuts if desired.

3Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes.

4Remove cookies from oven and let cool for about 1 minute. Transfer to cooling rack until cooled completely. Enjoy!

5Tip: Do not overbake. Cookies will be soft. They will puff during cooking and flatten upon cooling.
