How To Make the best date i ever had
-
1Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar on medium high until fluffy; about three minutes. Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla. Reduce speed to low; add flour mixture, oats, pecans and dates. Mix until just combined; do not overmix. Drop by tablespoons on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 11 - 13 minutes. Cool on wire rack.

2Glaze: Whisk the powdered sugar, orange peel and orange juice to make a thin glaze. Transfer to a heavy duty sealable sandwich bag and snip a 1/16 inch opening in one corner. Place glaze evenly back and forth over the cookies. Let cookies sit before storing them. ENJOY!
