Many years ago,a friend made these for me and they were especially good,I had been making them for years but hers were better!.Here's her recipe.

Ingredients For terry's mexican wedding cakes

2 c unsalted butter,softened

1 c powdered sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla

1 egg

1/4 t. salt

4 c all purpose flour

1 c minced almonds
How To Make terry's mexican wedding cakes

1Cream butter,add sugar,vanilla and egg. Stir in salt and flour,combine well. Add almonds. Roll into small balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes just until light brown. Roll in powdered sugar,cool on rack. Roll in powdered sugar and place in an airtight container.
