Great for Christmas, but I like to make them anytime of the year for special occasions..

Ingredients For tea time tassies

  • SHELLS
  • 3 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    flour
  • FILLING
  • 1
    egg
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2/3 c
    nuts of your choice, walnuts, pecans

How To Make tea time tassies

  • 1
    blend shells ingredients and chill for 1 hour
  • 2
    roll dough into small balls and press into shape in mini muffin pans
  • 3
    stir filling ingredients together and spoon into shells about 3/4 full
  • 4
    bake in a 325 degree oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned....oven do vary
