Ingredients For taffy apple pizza

  • 1
    tube peanut butter cookie dough
  • 2 lg
    granny smith apples
  • lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    peanuts, chopped (or more if you like)
  • cinnamon
  • 1 jar
    caramel ice cream topping
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour (i omit, and spray pan with pam)
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened

How To Make taffy apple pizza

  • 1
    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Roll out cookie dough with 2 tablespoons of flour onto the cookie sheet. Bake dough for 10-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool completely. Mix cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over cooled cookie dough. Peel, core, and slice the apples, soak in lemon juice to prevent browining while you arrange them. Place one apple ring in the center of the dough, arrange the remaining apple slices, cut in half, all over the cookie. Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples. Drizzle caramel over the top and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
