How To Make sweet essentials: almond butter cookies
-
1PREP/PREPARE
-
2In my opinion, a drizzle of fresh clover honey is an essential part of this recipe.
-
3Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).
-
4Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 350f (175c).
-
5Mix all the ingredients together, and then place tablespoon amounts on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
-
6Chef’s Note: The batter will spread out, and they will expand as they bake, so give each cookie a generous amount of space. On a full-sized baking sheet, you should have room for about 8 cookies.
-
7Place the cookies in the preheated oven, and bake for 9 – 11 minutes.
-
8Chef’s Note: I use calibrated ovens, and the cookies took exactly 10 minutes.
-
9Chef’s Tip: They are done when, the edges begin to brown, and they puff up a bit.
-
10Allow to completely cool, before serving.
-
11PLATE/PRESENT
-
12Serve with a drizzle of honey. Enjoy.
-
13Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
