2 csifted all-purpose flour

1/2 ccane sugar

1/2 tspbaking soda

1/2 clight corn syrup

1/2 cunsalted butter
-
1 tspground cardamom
-
1/4 tspground ginger

1/4 tspground cloves

2 tsporange zest

How To Make swedish spice cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift the Flour together with the sugar and baking soda.

2Combine the corn syrup, butter, spices and orange zest in a small saucepan; heat, just until the mixture boils and the butter melts. Remove from the heat and cool.

3Whisk the egg in a large bowl; slowly pour the cooled syrup into the egg, mixing well, with a wooden spoon.

4Stir in the flour mixture all at once; mix until well blended.

5Drop by teaspoonfuls to form the cookies, 2" apart on greased or parchment lined cookie sheets.

6Bake 11-13 minutes or until lightly browned. Transfer cookies to cooling racks. When cool, store in a lightly closed container.
