How To Make sugar cookies

  Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

  Blend in flour and baking powder.

  Chill at least 1 hour, but best overnight.

  Heat oven to 375 degrees.

  Roll dough to 1/8" thick. Cut with cookie cutter, place on cookie sheet. Decorate with sprinkles.

  Bake 6-8 minutes. Cool on pan for 2 minutes. The remove to wire rack to cool completely.
