Marge & Tim Rhines - We have always like these sugar cookies because if made right they stay soft. I got this recipe from Mary Smock when I baby sat for Dick & Mary's two boys for a couple summers. It was always a favorite. I always use this for cut out Christmas cookies.

Ingredients For soft sugar cookies

1 cmargarine

1 1/2 csugar

2eggs
-
2 tspvanilla

2 tspbaking powder

4 1/2 cflour

3/4 cmilk
How To Make soft sugar cookies

1Mix together all ingredients

2These can be rolled or dropped from a spoon and pressed with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. If you roll and cut out, it works best to chill the dough first.

3Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake!
