The first time I ever made a Prune cake, My family thought I had lost my mind. It is know a most requested cake. This is my rendition of the cake in biscuit form. This is not a sweet one, and is great with coffee or tea. Tell me what you think.

Ingredients For soft plum spice cookie/biscuit
- SET OVEN TO 350 F

1 stickbutter, room temperature

1 csugar

1 Tbspvanilla extract

1 lgegg

1 cprunes, pitted and finley choped
-
1 cwalnuts chopped
- ADD ALL THE FOLOWING INGREDIENTS IN MEDIUM BOWL

2 call purpose flour

1/2 tspsalt

1 tspbaking powder
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspcinnamon, ground

1/2 tspallspice, ground
-
1/2 tspclove, ground
- GLAZE: 1 C. POWDERED SUGAR, 1 TEASPOON MILK, 1 TEASPOON MELTED BUTTER, 1 DASH OF VANILLA MIX IN BOWL UNTIL SMOOTH. TOP EACH COOKIE (OPTIONAL)
How To Make soft plum spice cookie/biscuit

1Gather all pre-measured ingredients.

2Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, allspice, clove and cinnamon in medium bowl

3Beat sugar and butter in large bowl until well blended. Beat in Vanilla and egg until smooth.

4Add Prunes and Nuts

5Beat in flour mixture (gradually) DoNot Over Mix, just until blended. Mixture will pull from side of bowl. STOP MIXING

6Use small icecream scoop or rounded spoonfuls on to sprayed cookie sheet. lightly flatten cookie before baking.

7cook for 7 min. edges should look golden. * the longer the cookies seat after cooling, the softer they become. Go figure ! ENJOY!
