My husbands works for the city and was taking my cookies to work and one of the workers wanted oatmeal cookies with iceing so here it is. YUM! I was pleased

Ingredients For soft oatmeal cookies

1 stickbutter, room temperature

1 corganic sugar cane
-
1 corganic dark brown sugar
-
2organic brown eggs well beaten.

1 tspkahlua
-
1/2 tspchia spice
-
1 tspground cinnamon
-
2 cwhite lilly ap flour
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspsea salt
-
1 1/2 cquick cooking oats
-
raisin, cranberries, nuts (optional)
How To Make soft oatmeal cookies

1Preheat your oven to 375 degree F. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugars. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the kahlua.

2Combine flour, cinnamon, chia spice, baking soda, salt. Stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in the oats and raisin and nuts if you are using. mix well.

3I use a 4 oz scoop . scoop out cookie dough and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for aleast 2 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
