We had these at a family gathering , a member of my sister-in-laws family brought them to the gathering. They are so moist and flavorful we couldn't stop eating them.

How To Make soft gingersnaps

1Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and egg. Beat well. Sift together dry ingredients , an add to wet ingredients mixing well after each addition.Roll into small balls then roll in extra sugar.

2Place 2" apart on cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes . Remove to cooling rack and let cool for 10 minutes . Eat and enjoy!!
