My favorite snickerdoodles recipe. A friend of mine shared this in our church cookbook. I've made them many times and they come out perfect & delicious every time. I hope many people enjoy these as much as my family & friends!

2 3/4 call purpose flour

1 1/2 csugar

1 cbutter, softened

2eggs

2 tspcream of tartar

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla

1/4 tspsalt

3 Tbspsugar

1 1/2 tspcinnamon
How To Make snickerdoodle cookies

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping often until well mixed (2-4 minutes). In a small bowl, combine the 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake until edges are lightly browned (8 to 10 minutes). Makes approximately 4 dozen.
