These are my boyfriend's favorite cookies, and I always make sure I have a batch ready for him every time we see each other. They're very moist and chewy, so make sure you have wax paper on the cookie sheets so they don't fall through the cracks!! You can also substitute raisins for the chocolate chips to make super yummy oatmeal raisin cookies (my co-workers' favorite!!)

2/3 cwhite sugar

2/3 clight brown sugar

1/2 cbutter softened

1/2 cshortening, butter flavor

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla (or a little more for some extra flavor)

1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

2eggs

3 cquick oats

1 cflour

1 1/2 tspcinnamon

1 pkg16 oz chocolate chips
How To Make scott's favorite oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

1Cream Butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Mix in Eggs,vanilla,baking powder,sal,baking soda and cinnamon. Mix in oats then flour then add chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful on to cookie sheet and bake about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
