1 cbutter

3/4 cconfectioners' sugar

1/2 tspalmond extract

2 1/2 tspall purpose flour

1/4 tspsalt
How To Make scotch shortbread

1Beat butter until soft.

2Add sugar and almond extract and beat until smooth.

3Add flour and salt, and mix well.

4Press dough evenly in 11 x 7 x 2-inch pan and mark in 1-1/2 inch squares with a fork.

5Bake in 375 degree oven 25 minutes.

6Cut along markings while hot and cool in pan.
