Ingredients For scones

4 1/2 cbisquick baking mix

1egg

3 Tbspbutter, melted
-
3 Tbsppowdered buttermilk, i purchase saco brand from stater brothers market
-
1 cwater
-
1/3 cbrown sugar
- BUTTERSCOTCH
-
3/4 cbutterscotch morsels
- ORANGE CRANBERRY - SUBSTITUTE O.J. FOR 1/2 OF THE WATER

1/2 corange juice
-
1 1/2 tsporange extract
-
3 Tbsporange zest
-
3/4 - 1 ccranberries, dried
- RAISIN

1/2 cgolden raisins
-
1/2 craisins
-
1 tspnutmeg
-
1 1/2 tspvanilla

1 1/2 tspcinnamon
- APPLE CRANBERRY

2apples, granny smith, peeled, cored, and chopped

1 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspcloves

1/2 tspallspice

3/4 ccranberries, dried
- CLOTTED CREAM , SERVE ALONG SIDE ANY OF THE FRUITED SCONES

1 cheavy whipping cream

1 1/2 csour cream

3 - 4 Tbsppowdered sugar
- OPTIONAL :FOR APPLE CRANBERRY OR CRANBERRY ORANGE - BEFORE BAKING SPRINKLE OVER TOP OF SCONES

How To Make scones

1Stir together dried Bisquick, sugar, dried buttermilk, spices with a spoon.

2Add egg, butter, water to dried mix. Stir til just mixed

3Add fruit. Stir.

4drop by spoonfuls, they form a sort of large RUSTIC looking cookie mountain. Bake 400* 12 - 14 minutes

5For the Orange - Cranberry Scones, before baking Sprinkle top of each scone w/ Turbinado sugar or after completely cooled Drizzle a glaze over top of OJ mixed with Powdered Sugar & Zest of 1 orange.

6For Clotted Cream: Add powdered sugar to sour cream, mix well, set aside. Beat whipping cream til stiff, stir in sour cream and sugar.

7Apple Cranberry before baking sprinkle w/ Turbinado sugar
