Ingredients For sand tarts

  • 2 stick
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 c
    flour, sifted
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped fine
  • powdered sugar for dusting

How To Make sand tarts

  • 1
    Cream butter and powdered sugar until mixed well.
  • 2
    Gradually mix in flour. Add vanilla and pecans and mix well.
  • 3
    Roll in 1/2 teaspoons size balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Cool until slightly warm and roll in powdered sugar until covered well.
