Ingredients For rum balls

  • 2 1/2 c
    crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 c
    ground pecans
  • 1 c
    confectioners' sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    plus 2 tsp. baking cocoa
  • 1/4 c
    rum
  • 3 Tbsp
    honey
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • add'l confectioners' sugar and/or crushed vanilla wafers

How To Make rum balls

  • 1
    In a large bowl, combine the wafer crumbs, pecans, confectioners' sugar and cocoa.
  • 2
    Combine the rum, honey, and water and stir into the crumb mixture.
  • 3
    Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in additional confectioners' sugar and/or wafer crumbs.

    Store in an airtight container.
