Ingredients For rose petal cookies

1/2 cbutter

1/3 csugar

1 lgegg

3/4 call purpose flour

1 pinchsalt

1 tsprose jam
How To Make rose petal cookies

1Mix all ingredients well, adding jam last. Work until smooth. Roll into ball and refrigerate 3-4 hrs.

2Roll into 2 1/2 inch rounds. Roll to 1/8 inch thick. Bake on well greased cookie tins, for about 8 mins. When cool spread with Rose jam sparingly and top each full circle with a cut out. Makes about half a dozen.
