root beer float bars
These bars are quite fragrant and so delicious! The taste of the Root Beer really come through. I personally think the main ingredient for this recipe is the root beer extract (or) concentrate.

Ingredients For root beer float bars

¾ cupunsalted butter, at room temperature

¾ cupbrown sugar

¼ cupgranulated sugar

1(3.4 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding mix

2 Largeeggs
-
2teaspoons root beer extract (or) concentrate

2-¼cups all-purpose flour
-
1teaspoon baking soda
-
1/2 cupwhite chocolate chips (i used nestle premier white morsels.)
How To Make root beer float bars

1Preheat the oven to 350° F.

2Line an 8”x 8” baking pan with parchment paper. Leaving an overhang on all four sides.

3In a large bowl cream together, the butter and sugars.

4Mix in the dry pudding mix.

5Add the eggs, root beer extract, and mix until well combined.

6Now add the flour and baking soda, mix until incorporated.

7Stir in the white chocolate chips.

8Press the cookie batter as evenly as possible into the prepared baking pan.

9Bake in oven for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle, come out clean.

10Cool for 20 minutes.

11Use the parchment overhang, lift the baked pan of bars out of the pan, and onto a wire rack to cool completely.

12Using a serrated knife, cut into 12 bars.

13Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to one week.
