Ingredients For raspberry slice

  • for the crust..mix together: 1/2 tsp salt, 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 cup butter, 1 beaten egg, 1 tbsp milk
  • SPREAD THE CRUST MIXTURE ON BOTTOM OF AN 8" SQUARE CAKE PAN...
  • SPOON 3/4 CUP RASPBERRY JAM OVER THE CRUST
  • FOR THE TOPPING: COMBINE 1 CUP SUGAR, 1 BEATEN EGG, 1/4 CUP MELTED BUTTER, 2 CUPS FLAKED COCONUT..
  • MIX WELL...AND SPREAD MIXTURE ON JAM LAYERS...
  • BAKE @ 350 DEGREES FOR 30 MINUTES
