I love this recipe so versatile. You can try other ingredients, but I love the taste of raisins and cinnamon. This recipe will taste good with either unsalted or salted butter. In fact with this batch I used unsalted butter.

1/2 cbutter

1 call purpose flour

3/4 csugar

1egg

1 tspvanilla

1/8 tspbaking soda

1/4 tspcinnamon

1/8 tspnutmeg

How To Make raisin drop cookies

1In a mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium high for about 30 seconds.

2Add about half of the flour,then the sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Beat till thoroughly combined.

3Beat in remaining flour. Stir in the one cup of raisins.

4Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

5Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till edges are golden brown.

6Remove cookies immediately from cookie sheet and cool on a wire rack.

7Recipe makes between 24 to 30 cookies.
