This recipe whips up in no time. The basic recipe you can use other ingredients like raisins, coconut, or pecans, but I chose rainbow colored sprinkles. So it really makes a pretty cookie.

1/4 cmargarine

1 call-purpose flour

3/4 csugar

1 tspvanilla extract

How To Make rainbow sugar drop cookies

1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a mixing bowl beat shortening and margarine together with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.

2Add about half of the flour, the sugar, egg, flavorings, and baking soda. Beat till thoroughly combined.

3Beat in remaining flour. Stir in multi-colored sprinkles.

4Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 7 to 8 minutes. (DO NOT OVERCOOK)

5Cool cookies on cookie sheet for 1 minute, then remove cookies and cool on a wire rack. Makes about 24.
