I got this recipe from my wonderful mother-in-law Janice Williams. The family just loves these cookies.

Ingredients For praline cookies

  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/2 c
    lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c
    sifted flour

How To Make praline cookies

  • 1
    In a bowl, cream together the butter, egg and sugar.

    Add flour and nuts and blend.
  • 3
    Drop by teaspoon full onto a buttered cookie sheet.
  • 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes or until browned.
  • 5
    NOTE: You will want to check the cookies after 10 minutes to be sure they don't over cook.
