1 cshortening

1/2 cwild persimmon pulp

1 tspbaking soda

2 1/2 call purpose flour

2 lgeggs

1/2-3/4 cchopped wild hickory nuts (or you can use pecans)
How To Make persimmon cookies

1Preheat oven 350 degrees Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, place on a greased cookie sheet in spoonfulls, bake 15 to 20 min dont over bake !! Enjoy! -
2I use a cone shaped colander and wood pestle to remove the pulp from the persimmons.
